How do pirates & cubs fans deal with the looses?

as a Tigers fan i went threw the 43-119 2003 season so i kinda know what it means to have a team that sucks but maybe they do what the tigers did sign some veterans (Pudge/Ordonez/Rogers) get a good manager (Leyland) then start from there
