I think he's a no-brainer Hall of Famer. First ballot? I don't know. Voters sometimes to strange things. Like making Harmon Killebrew wait til the 4th year. In the long run, it doesn't matter. Once you're in, you're in. Like Bert Blyleven. He's being inducted this year after 14 years on the ballot. Did he suddenly become a better pitcher after 13 extra years of retirement? Like I said, voters will decide. If I had a vote, he's be a first ballot selection.
